Professional Staff

The professional staff of The Gables is composed of a medical director, staff psychologist, consulting psychiatrist, program director, certified chemical dependency counselors, CDTs, nurses, dietician, spirituality consultants, recreational therapists, and exercise therapists. These professionals work cooperatively to continually develop and monitor the individual treatment plan.

The Home

The Gray Gables Mansion, built in 1912, in a quiet residential neighborhood, was purchased by the current owner in September 1982. The lovely four-story English tudor mansion was completely renovated to house The Gables for chemically dependent adult women. The main level has the "great room" and dining room beautifully decorated to promote a serene and harmonious atmosphere. The upper two levels, decorated in quiet blue and white with accents of peach, have numerous bedrooms as well as group rooms, lounges, and counselor offices. The garden level provides additional living areas and bedrooms. The quality of these surroundings lends an atmosphere of warmth and security to the recovery setting.
